Dry Skin? what are some really really moisturizing lotions?
it’s october and it’s getting cold and i use purell and wash my hands alot [germaphobe] and my hands are getting very very dry. they look like the sahara desert. so what are some really good lotions that smell nice and can preferrably get at bath and Body Works or the drug store? with OUT going to the doctor [i HATE the doctor!!!!!]
Excellent Question.
People ask about this all the time at Bath and Body Works. There are so many different lotions that specialize in that. There is one in particular that we recommend to nurses with really dry hands (from constantly washing them). It’s medicated hand balm from C O Bigelow and it’s the best you can get. If that’s too intense we have a spa collection that has so many different theraputic hand lotions that have differents scents, or are totally unscented, and different levels of moisturizing, etc.
My advice would be to go in there and explain to one of the workers what your situation is. They LOVE to help you out. Trust me. When people ask questions it makes their day. 
And the best part is, if it doesn’t work… even if you’ve used half the bottle, you can bring it back and either get a 100% refund or exchange it and try something else.
You really can’t lose.
Also, as you mention washing your hands a lot, something you might want to look in to also is the soaps there. There are three kinds, the foaming, cleansing, and moisturizing. We normally suggest the creamy moisturizing soap to people who wash their hands often as it is the least hard on your hands and doesn’t dry them out.
